Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from an eligible distance contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. For contracts concerning digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform VAP of the decision to withdraw by means of a clear statement, for example by email or letter, sent to the contact details above. The consumer may use the Model Withdrawal Form, but its use is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

Electronic withdrawal function

Consumers may also submit a withdrawal electronically through the VAP online withdrawal function at /pages/eu-withdrawal-form. No customer account is required to use this function.

After a withdrawal is submitted through the online withdrawal function, VAP sends confirmation of receipt without undue delay by email. The confirmation records the content of the withdrawal declaration and the date and time it was received.

Effects of withdrawal

If a valid withdrawal is made, VAP will reimburse the payments received for the affected contract without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receiving the withdrawal statement. Unless otherwise agreed, reimbursement will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Digital files and digital downloads

VAP primarily offers digital 3D print files and file packs in 3MF and STL formats, delivered electronically and not supplied on a tangible medium. No physical item is shipped for products marked as Digital 3D Print File, Free Digital File, Digital Download or Digital 3D Print File Pack.

For paid digital content, the statutory right of withdrawal can expire early only where the customer has expressly consented to performance beginning before expiry of the withdrawal period, has acknowledged that this causes the right of withdrawal to expire when performance begins, and has received the required contractual confirmation.

Download access and file issues

If a customer cannot access a purchased file, receives the wrong file or experiences a technical delivery issue, the customer should contact VAP at vanalmsickparts@gmail.com. VAP will review the issue and provide corrected access or another appropriate solution where applicable.
