Overview

This digital download includes a prepared 3MF file and matching STL geometry for printing a compact BMW E36 coat hanger delete panel for clean rear interior detail work.

It closes the original coat hanger mounting area after the factory component has been removed, creating a simple OEM+ finish for lightweight and motorsport-inspired interiors.

Fitment

Designed for compatible BMW E36 coat hanger mounting locations. Body style, production year, interior trim version, previous repairs and modifications may affect fitment.

Original mounting hardware may be required depending on the vehicle configuration.

Material & Printing

• Recommended: ASA for balanced heat resistance and automotive interior use
• Premium option: ASA-CF for increased stiffness and a technical surface finish
• Also suitable: PETG for easier printing and moderate interior temperatures
• Not recommended: PLA due to limited heat resistance inside parked vehicles

Designed for FDM printing and optimized for enclosed printers such as the Bambu Lab P1S. Recommended layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm. No support structures are required when using the intended orientation.

Installation Notes

• Remove the original coat hanger.
• Retain any original mounting hardware required for installation.
• Position the delete component over the original mounting area.
• Align all mounting features before tightening or applying pressure.
• Do not overtighten or force the component into position.
